VOSA Compliant MOT Signs

29 Oct 2012

Category: Articles, Company News

FPS’ signage range now includes all the essential MOT signs that every test centre needs. Fully compliant with the latest VOSA regulations, the signs come in both self-adhesive vinyl and rigid foamex plastic.

Know the law:

  • The standards for MOT signs is driven by the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) which determines the size and scale of all MOT signs. It is therefore essential that test centres use ONLY those signs which comply with VOSAs strict guidelines.
  • These signs should only be used by approved Authorised Testing Facility (ATFs) which must go through a strict application and approval process. These centres are subject to annual checks.

New MOT Requirements
VOSA issued new MOT test requirements (2010/48/EU) on the 1st January 2012, so make sure you’re up to date with the latest rules and requirements. These changes necessitated the introduction of additional testing equipment, such as

  • LPG Gas Leak Detection Spray 400ml
  • Trailer Socket Tester

FPS supplies all of these products and more – speak to your local FPS Representative to find out more.
