We are delighted to announce that FPS Senior Director Terry Wainwright was presented with CAT Magazine’s Outstanding Achievement award at this year’s ceremony.
The award recognises the achievements of outstanding individuals in the aftermarket, with last year’s award going to Wendy Williamson, Chief Executive of the IAAF.
Having already spent many years in the aftermarket, Terry joined FPS in 1997. He joined as Marketing Director before becoming Managing Director in 2000, a position he held for five years. During his time at FPS, Terry has also been a member of the Lookers board and he remains an active and important member of the FPS Executive Management Team.
He also spent many years on the ADF/IAAF Council, serving a term as Head of Council and then President. A leading industry figure, he is respected by colleagues, suppliers, customers and competitors alike, which is reflected in him winning this prestigious award.
Terry’s industry knowledge is vast and he has been invaluable to FPS for over twenty years and the aftermarket for more than forty years. He continues to play a significant role in the development and shaping of the business.
Speaking of his award, Terry said: “I’m very pleased to have received this award and it was a proud moment for me.
“Albeit, I’ve had the advantage of being in the right place at the right time on several occasions and had the benefit of working with some great people over the years.”
Everyone at FPS would like to congratulate Terry on winning this award!
