Michelin is launching a national TV advertising campaign to help drive sales of its new range of wiper blades. The advert will be launched during summer 2013, appearing on popular channels Dave and Sky News. Already a well known household brand name, it is hoped that this advert will help drive end-user demand for Michelin wiper blades in a market estimated at £60 million per year.
Michelin, with over 100 years’ experience in rubber technology and the automotive industry, offers a wiper range that covers 95% of the UK car parc. With 22 blades in range, the Michelin wiper blades offering includes ‘Rainforce,’ for vehicles using conventional wiper blades (sizes 14” – 28”), and ‘Stealth’, a hybrid blade utilising the latest technology. ‘Stealth’ blades can also be retrofitted to upgrade vehicles fitted with traditional or flat blades (sizes 16” – 28”).
