This September, one of our van drivers will be swapping a steering wheel for a crossbar, all in aid of charity. Amy Sinclair, who is based at our Colchester branch, will be cycling from London to Paris alongside her partner Darren to raise money for St Helena Hospice.
A charity local to the area, St Helena Hospice provides care for those affected by life limiting conditions by providing support to patients and both their families and carers.
The ride will start in London on 19th September and will be completed over the course of four days. Day one will see Amy and Darren cycle 95 miles to Dover before catching the ferry to Calais. On day two they will carry out a 75 mile cycle south from Calais to the town of Abbeville before cycling 70 miles on day three to Beauvais. Their final day of cycling will see them make the 60 mile journey to Paris to complete their charity fundraiser.
We would like to wish Amy and Darren good luck on this worthy cause.
