Cambiare Programme Continues to Grow

Engine management specialist Cambiare has increased its product offering with the addition of 100+ ABS sensors, 12 temperature sensors and a radiator fan switch.

This range extension from the Cambiare programme covers more than 3.25 million vehicles on the UK roads and provides wider business opportunity for the customers.

Product highlights include:
VE375176 – Temperature sensor – Ford Focus 1.6 (08/2004–09/2012)
VE709133 – Radiator fan switch – Renault Twingo I 1.2 (05/1996>)
VE701698 – ABS sensor – Peugeot 207 1.6 (06/2006–10/2013)

ABS sensors provide the anti-locking braking system with constant signals that allow it to monitor the rotational speed of the wheels. This enables the ABS to accurately sense when a wheel suddenly stops rotating during braking. It releases and then re-applies the brake effort to the locking brakes at rapid intervals, thus preventing wheel lock.  By doing so, the vehicle benefits from improved control and decreased stopping distances on dry or slippery surfaces.

The temperature sensor measures the temperature of engine coolant and relays this information to the ECU, whereas the radiator fan switch turns on the electric fan mounted on the radiator to cool the engine to a pre-determined temperature. Both the temperature sensor and radiator fan switch are important components of the engine management system, meaning it is important to source a high quality part, such as Cambiare.
