FPS supports fundraising for Breast Cancer Care

After her sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in July, one FPS employee decided to go the extra mile in order to raise money for this fantastic cause.

Jessica Halsall, who works at the FPS National Distribution Centre in Sheffield, will shave her head in order to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. Jessica made this courageous decision after discovering her sister would need chemotherapy. Being extremely close to her two sisters, all three decided to shave their heads in an act of sisterly solidarity.

On Saturday 6th September, they have arranged for three hairdressers to shave all of their hair off, at their local community centre. In the run-up to the event, they will be raising money via a Just Giving page and on the day, there will be collection buckets. They are even donating their hair to The Little Princess Trust, a charity that sends real hair to be made into wigs for child cancer sufferers.

FPS is extremely proud of Jessica’s brave fundraising efforts.
